I am adaptable depending on the desires of the student for the session. For me, yoga is a slow dance. The structure of the flow I create is really important to ensure the student feels invigorated after I have worked with them. Giving others the gift of a safe practice brings me joy, and I hope this reflects in my sessions. I also put effort and care into what I do. A private session is very different to a class at a gym or a studio, and so all the advice I will be giving during the practice will be tailored specifically. Through encouragement, support, and attention to detail. As a former dancer who has suffered with injury in the past, alignment is key when I teach. Through gently bringing the student's attention to how they can move safely, I should hope that they will feel more confident to push themselves when they practice with me.
