I have a competitive background in sport, having competed in swimming for 26 years, triathlon for 6 years and in 2018 competed for Team GB in the multi sport world championships. I focus on functional strength training exercises that can benefit clients in their chosen sport, or to become stronger in everyday life. I also train pre and post natal clients looking to become stronger, fitter and have more energy as a new mum. I strive to help clients push their boundaries, meet and exceed their potential. I aim to give clients the knowledge in their training, to take away and use forever. I act as a mentor as well as a personal trainer. I have a background in endurance training so can advise around how PT sessions can help with endurance events. The winter is the ideal time to focus on strength and conditioning. We will look at the client's goals and needs, based on these I create a session plans tailored to the clients specific needs. Whether it's coming back from injury, post birth, building strength, getting fitter for a special occasion or training for an event such as a running, triathlon. I can incorporate multiple components into the sessions such as high intensity, TRX, functional strength training, bodyweight exercises. I work as a mentor as well as a PT, I adjust the training programme throughout sessions to ensure the clients are pushing themselves and achieving their goals. Everything I work for is with the client in mind. The client comes first. I understand everyone is time poor so I strive to make every session as effective as possible for clients to reach their goals. I have been qualified for 2 years. I'm happiest when I'm active, and I strive to inspire clients to live life to their fullest, which I truly believe is when they are fit and strong.
