My fitness lifestyle, like most began with me in the gym not having a clue what I should or should not be doing. My lack of knowledge equated to a lack of confidence, which meant that I rarely left my comfort zone of the treadmill and tedious crunches. As well as training my body I had to train my mind in order to evolve my training style. In overcoming the psychological barriers, I discovered new ways to elevate my level of fitness through weight training, boxing and HIIT. In the space of a year my training went from being mediocre and daunting to fulfilling and results oriented. Due to my active lifestyle I was able to maintain a solid level of training throughout my pregnancy and was able to resume my training regimen at 4 weeks postpartum. Being a full time mum meant that I didn’t have the same freedom to go to the gym as I did before motherhood. I was challenged to get creative with home workouts which has given me a well-rounded knowledge and experience of results driven exercise. With 2 years in the industry, I specialise in fat loss, toning, strength and conditioning.
