I'm passionate about helping people feel better in their own skin by making them more aware of their mind and body. Rather than simply exercising or just talking about emotional stresses, I believe that the way I use movement, breath and introspection helps my clients come home to themselves - getting back in touch with their intuition so they can better understand their direction in life. I work by tapping into where my client currently is, and basing each session around whether they need to move, sweat, relax, or be challenged. I maintain that we're trying to cultivate energy, not deplete it. I've been a yoga teacher since 2016, and since my initial training in yoga flow I have been avidly training, reading and studying about the human mind and body, and am just embarking on my Diploma in Yoga Therapy. Whatever direction we take, I want my clients to finish the session feeling energised yet calm. Among my studies, I have trained in Remedial Therapy and Yoga for Sports, which gives me the ability to give my clients a thorough physical examination that makes their personalised experience with me different from with other yoga teachers. I can do a postural assessment and joint range of motion testing to see where you have imbalances, what daily habits may be causing them, and what programme I would suggest to make a measurable difference. I therefore am suited to clients who have specific goals, such as chronic pain reduction, injury rehabilitation, improved sports performance, or simply achieving various poses if this is empowering to them.
